As a marine biologist and SCUBA Divemaster, I find my inspiration in the ocean.
Growing up in an artsy family with a mom who scrapbooks religiously, a tattoo artist sister, and a dad who can build anything, I was constantly inspired to lean into creativity. I took painting classes when I was a kid, along with every art class available to me at school.
What started as a fun weekend DIY project to cover up some old stains on a pair of pants has transformed into an incredibly meaningful art form. Block carving and printing is a craft that feels so good to me - it's tactile, it's colorful, it's repeatable.
I also enjoy embroidery, sewing, and painting. I love blending these media together to create one of a kind pieces for all the ocean lovers!
